Bookmatching is the process of joining two slabs milled one after another, aligning the grain to create a mirror image. For each piece, customers will choose their Black Walnut slabs from a set of options, and North Edge will begin the 2-3 week process of creating their custom coffee table.
After the two slabs have been joined, all cracks will be filled with epoxy, their piece will be finished sanded smooth, and then sealed with five coats of satin polyurethane for natural yet durable look.
Clients can choose style of legs (hairpin, steel square frame, or x-frame). Max length is 60", max width is 36", height is 16".
Legs will be shipped unattached. Your piece will be professionally packed and shipped with the suggested pilot holes for the legs pre-drilled.
